When to consider OER for MU Staff

MU Library Collections are extensive and are built by partnership between MU Library, Library Reps, Faculty orders and projects, in order to supply registered MU staff and students with the standard of academic information to support their studies, research and professional development.

So why consider OER?

It may be that the budget for your department in an academic year has been exhausted, and you need to find an alternative source of information for your recommended reading. There may be an opportunity to adopt an OER in a way that supports your pedagogy and empowers your students in co-creation of academic material in class. Or perhaps you wish to remix or publish your own material in an OER.

Explore our Finding, Using and Sharing OER page, for more information.
