The library staff are dedicated to helping you with your research and studies during your time at the University. Our services reflect this dedication as we aim to provide you with an appropriate and comfortable environment which combines study and social spaces for both individual and group study. 

Find out how to borrow and return books, how to manage your library account, the options and locations for printing and photocopying and FAQs on how to use the library, where to eat and drink and our opening hours. Find out about all the study options available in the library, from silent study on level 2 to our flexible learning space on level 1.

We know many people use the library for a variety of reasons and in a range of different ways. This section will help you find the resources and services available in the library to suit your own needs such as inter-library loans and information for visitors.

This semester we are back with our #7StepsToSuccess: Your Student Roadmap designed to guide new and current students through the Library's semester initiatives, student supports, online resources and much more!

We will be sharing bitesize videos throughout the semester to tell you about the in-person and online sessions, workshops and support clinics taking place in the Library, including when and where! Make sure you are following us on IG, FB and X to ensure you don't miss out!

Both the Admission and Information desks are staffed during service hours to help you with any queries you may have about managing your library account, your membership, subject specific requests or the collection of material such as books on hold, inter-library loans or theses. 

Staff at the Admission Desk are happy to assist you return or collect material, pay a fine or retrieve items from the shelves. The library does not permit entry to children. Children are more than welcome to visit the library’s public facilities such as the foyer and coffee shop once accompanied by an adult.
